Whoo, members!  Hi, y'all! 

So probably in a week or so I'll do some sort of democratic community rule-determining process, because this is what you get when your community is founded by someone who thinks in political philosophy, sorry.  But, for now, I thought I'd just do an introduction meme, so people can introduce themselves if they want, and we'll have something new to chat about.

Are you primarily on DW, LJ, or elsewhere? Live Journal, and yet, here I am, answering this questionnaire.
Location: Los Angeles, California.
Other Fandoms: Stargate Sg-1 was my first online fandom. Star Trek:TOS was my first media fandom. I am feeling pretty excited about the new movie. I am also feeling very upset that the only recent T.V. Show I have loved and avidly watched, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is probably going to be canceled.
Shipping Preferences (FedEx is not an acceptible answer): I don't ship characters, in any fandom. I prefer gen fic, in every fandom. However, I will read anything, if it is well-written, even if I don't know the source material, ie bandom, where I have never even heard of the bands. Lengthy and/or gratuitous sex scenes (unless it's for a Porn Battle) are often a reason for me to stop reading a story. For example, there is a well-known, very heavily recced SGA story that I couldn't even get through the second chapter of because of the number of ridiculous, pointless and unbelievable sex scenes. For Mulder and Scully, I prefer the UST to the RST.
Do you do any sort of fanworks (art, fic, meta)? I write fic for The X-Files, and other shows, books etc, on occasion.
Favorite Season/Arc? I like first season when they are young and relatively unscathed.
Mytharc or MoTW? MoTW because all of the funny episodes (my favorites) are MoTW, except for one.
Hottest Season and Why? I don't think of the characters that way. On the other hand, I think DD and GA look pretty damn good right now.
You get to be locked in an elevator with one regular character for two hours? Who do you pick and what do you do? That would change depending on what I was writing, but at the moment I pick Mulder. I would interview him, asking endless questions about what he was doing, feeling etc. during the three months when Scully was missing. I also want the real story of his relationship with Diana. I mean all the dirt. How did they meet, did they in fact ever marry, why did they break up? Everything. This would save me so much time.

I'm glad to hear that you're excited about the new Star Trek. I can't help but think it's...too shiny? Or something? But I never got into the original, so have no sentimental attachment to the characters. The Enterprise being built is pretty hot looking, though.

I don't think of the characters that way.
Blah blah blah, my noromo heart is so much more pure than yours, blah blah blah, elevated spiritual plain, blah blah blah... :)

The first season is so cute. Little baby face Scully! She warms my heart. I also am just stunned by GA's talent then--every time I watch Beyond the Sea, I have a little DAMN, how much younger than me is she? moment.

My normoro heart is only pure up to a point, as you know. I am a noromo who reads a lot of MSR fic. I just read Vehemently's first fic, a Krycek dreams about being Mulder fic, "Sleep-Paralysis". It was really good! She is reposting all of her fic here due to her geocities site going down.
