I wonder, is it an episode that suffers at all in cross-cultural translation? Something about Crump's paranoia strikes me as very American, and I wonder if it's at all off-putting to someone not from here.

Well, it's not a problem for me, at least. But that type of paranoia is a bit American, I think.
