For all your weekend apocalypse needs
So, I heard there's an apocalypse brewing. And because fandom is awes, there's two comment fic fests to celebrate, and those fests need some X-Files prompts.
petra has the Rapture in Midair comment and prompt fest. She says:
I'd like some comment fic about sex or kink practices involving flying, zero gravity, wingfic, Mile High Club memberships, suspension bondage, skydiving, trampolines, dragon riding, broomsticks, Wingardium leviosa, or anything else you can think of up to and including the Rapture, as long as at least one person defying gravity, bring it on! Every fandom and character is welcome, including real people.
Go drop some prompts, and add Scully and Mulder (and Skinner and Krycek and Monica and Doggett) to the mile high club!
And for a grittier apocalyptic weekend,thatyourefuse has the End of the World Comment ficathon:
Bring on your plague, your zombies, your meteor strikes, your alien overlords, and every other creative and horrible thing you can think of doing to the poor defenseless world. For the purposes of this commentficathon, dystopia!fic is also perfectly acceptable -- so if your fandom comes with built-in Evil Authoritarian AU, or if you just happen to have one living in your brain, go right ahead. All fandoms/characters/pairings welcome, including RPF.

I don't know, but here's the Sydney Morning Herald's take on the matter.
I just want to know what timezone it will happen on. Because, you know, if it's based in North America, it will be Sunday for me, and I might get to see the latest episode of Doctor Who before it all goes down.
